Growing up my mother always told me to change my stars.  She would write it at the bottom of letters she wrote to me when I was away at college.  It meant that we have the opportunity to create any future we wanted, destiny isn't written in the stars. Once my son was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome we lived by those three words.  With the lack of resources and the delay in diagnosis we felt that society was already creating his destiny for him.  We took his future into our own hands and researched all the available resources that were available to him. We realized how hard it was to find all these resources and how beneficial it would be for the TCS community to have immediate access from the day they were born.  That is how Change Your Stars came about.  We can't wait to connect with you and grow together.                                                   -CJ Knighten
